Heav'n keep my friends from drowning and from fires, 
From smoaky chimnies, and deceitful liars, 
From taxing statesmen, who the poor distress, 
From those that wish to manacle the press!
Of all the plagues attending human like, 
Defend me from that plague--- a scolding wife.
